LeafSee Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

LeafSee collects the following data when you use the app:

• Email address (when you create an account)
• Plant photos you submit for identification
• Chat messages with our AI assistant
• Device push token (for care reminders)
• Usage data such as scan history

We do not collect location data, contacts, or browsing history.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Identify plants and diagnose plant health
• Provide AI-powered plant care advice
• Send care reminders for your plants
• Sync your data across devices
• Improve our identification accuracy

We never sell your data to third parties.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the US East region. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including photos, chat history, and push tokens — is permanently deleted within 24 hours.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

1. Open the LeafSee app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (Me) → Account → Delete Account.
3. Confirm the deletion. All your photos, chat history, plant records, and push tokens will be permanently erased within 24 hours.

You may also request account deletion by emailing song@pfzq.com with the subject "Delete my LeafSee account" from your registered email address.

Third-Party Services

LeafSee uses the following third-party services:

• Plant.id — plant identification API
• DeepSeek — AI chat API
• Expo — push notification delivery
• RevenueCat — subscription management

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary (e.g., plant images for identification).

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Opt out of push notifications at any time
• Request data export

Children's Privacy

LeafSee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of LeafSee after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
